ALBANY Mary Elizabeth Sweeney, RSCJ, 94 years, died at Teresian House on Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Born in Rochester, N.Y., on December 13, 1914, Betty was one of four daughters of Michael Edward Sweeney and Helen Hammond Sweeney. She grew up in Rochester and attended school at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, Prince Street, graduating from there in June 1933. After graduation, Betty attended Manhattanville College before entering the Society of the Sacred Heart at Kenwood in June 1936.
