Allison Cowles dies at 75 from pancreatic cancer

Allison Stacey Cowles, a longtime civic leader and matriarch of the family that publishes The Spokesman-Review, has died.

The newspaper said Cowles died late Saturday night in Spokane from pancreatic cancer. She was 75.
