NSW: ICAC to investigate alleged corruption at Transgrid

The New South Wales corruption watchdog launches its investigation today into alleged
fraud at TransGrid .. owner and operator of the state's electricity transmission network.

The ICAC's beginning public hearings into allegations involving a Transgrid employee
and a contractor.

It'll examine whether TransGrid officer GORAN PEVEC took bribes from DOMENIC MURDOCCA
.. or Mr MURDOCCA'S firm Sage Civil Engineering .. for work contracts.

ICAC's also investigating whether Mr MURDOCCA and other Sage Engineering staff defrauded
TransGrid while tendering and performing contracted work.
